Jon is Mind Cafe's Submissions Manager and part-time Social Media Manager. He assists us in managing all articles submitted to Mind Cafe, deciding whether they should be accepted, rejected or developed under his guidance.
I started writing for Mind Cafe back when the team consisted of no more than five writers. Now, I work alongside Adrian, Reed and the rest of Mine Cafe's team as their Submissions Manager. In a nutshell, I oversee all of our submissions, deciding what gets accepted, rejected or developed.
Alongside my role at Mind Cafe, I currently study philosophy at the University of Nottingham – it keeps me on my toes and helps me keep my writing and analytic skills up to date. Building onto my interest in philosophy, I set up a philosophy publication: The Apeiron Blog, where I write easy to read philosophy content for everyone and anyone.
I am a strong advocate of the healthy body, healthy mind mentality. My daily routine consists of meditating, going the gym, and reading Buddhist philosophy. Outside of that, any spare moment I have is dedicated to laughing with friends and family, playing guitar and listening to music.
